Eco-Art

Rooted in the heart of Bvumbwe, AaroHelm is more than a garden. It’s a movement. Through guided nature walks, tree planting, eco-art, and hands-on sustainability activities, children explore the wonders of indigenous and exotic trees, flowers, birds, and insects. Every leaf, petal, and feather becomes a lesson in environmental stewardship.

Founded by Thembie Kayira, AaroHelm empowers young minds and community women alike, blending education, cultural preservation, and climate action. From composting to birdhouse building, from environmental film festivals to community gardens – every activity is designed to inspire a generation of climate-conscious citizens.

Our garden is a Show Room with a variety of indigenous and exotic tree, flowers, plants and birds that help children connect with nature.
